Willow work provides both an opportunity for collaboration between an artist and the kids and an ongoing private space for the children.
Our kits include plans for willow domes, wigwams and tunnels with willow plugs. The following are structures and sizes are available:
Domes: 6 ft, 10 ft, 12ft
Teepee: 6 ft, 10ft, 12ft
Tunnels: 6ft, 12 ft, and 12ft

Currently we provide, willow cuttings that will grow into rods to create your preferred structure(s). Willow cuttings are available from early April to late September 30. Plans and willow care will be shipped with the willow cuttings.
They can be cut to the ground every couple of years and will re-grow to allow for a new experience for the children. Willow naturally does not have leaves on the bottom 12 to 20 inches of the plant and this provides the children with the illusion of complete privacy while it allows for open sightlines for adult supervision.
Please note that a warranty on this product is only available if it is installed by Bienenstock Natural Playgrounds Staff and maintained according to the Willow Manual provided with your order.
